Fuji loved being in photo shoots. On this day, I had been setting up to take a photo of a lamp for my little company. Fu loved being in the studio lights and posed dramatically. He was so beautiful. He died during our Oregon years. I still miss him.
Eli was our big boy. Eric’s mom brought him home one day after a visit to Walmart where someone was giving away puppies. They were bachelor “dogs” together – Eli and Eric. Eric named him Eli because “he lies like a dog”. He once ate a piece of siding off my house. He once ate a feral baby chicken in Hawaii. As much as we loved that dog, I believe he loved us even more.
