Onion harvest day. Planted sets from Renee’s Garden in March and they produced some very large onions. Pickled yesterday. Included fresh Coriander seeds – soft, lemony. Had to use goggles.

Harvested the rest before rains. My plan is to cure for a few days then braid them for more curing and storage. If they start to melt, will dehydrate.

Reward was spicy Thai fish. Leaves from the Kaffir Lime tree and garden Thai basil. Using up the last of my Thai basil pesto, ready for putting away another year’s worth in August. It’s a dupe of Thai catfish we used to get in ATL.

Why does everything smell like onions?
