Saving snow peas for the seeds – a fall planting? The Kaffir lime tree is setting a new flush of tiny baby leaves for later use in Thai curries. A fancy wine grape vine arrived – it’s 3 year old stock so it might produce this year. A bonus late-summer Gardenia included in the order which is just lovely. The blackberries are producing amongst the huge Comfrey. Damaged but still going strong (durn Japanese beetles!). Eric relocated the trap to outside the garden this morning (he’s so brilliant) and most of the beetles followed.
