Growin’

A teeny Rajasthani melon appeared today. I was so excited that I ran out in the rain to take a snap of it.

They took forever to launch into full, climbing, specimens. But once they did, they formed delicate little yellow flowers like cousins cucumber and courgette. Pollinators love them. Fruit followed.

The wonderful part of this somewhat contained kitchen garden is that we get to watch it from inside as we do chores. It’s pretty cool.
